That's because honda guys never did pay attention about Mclaren suggestions what not to do,the rest is history.
What did not stuck in your couple? And what made communication impossible?
Hasegawa: The first reason is that we have not done a good job. I can apologize for lack of time, lack of discernment about our hopes ... All of which combined with the lack of power have altered our initial good communication. McLaren was not happy and let him know. A better team spirit should have prevailed, but it did not depend solely on us. We are two in a couple ...
In this type of conflict, there are always good and bad. Have you defended yourself enough?
Hasegawa: I understand what you mean ... We had our problems, and McLaren was his. I could have pointed out the chassis problems encountered, but it would have been pointless to point who is responsible for what and for what. We had our problems, and we were not in a position to comment ...

I for one was completely floored by what Honda showed up with at the winter tests. They knew all the marbles were at stake and yet...They came completely ill prepared.
Why did they keep updating the 2016 PU ? Why didn't they put absolutely everything into 2017 ASAP in 2016?
McLaren needs a big name to be taken seriously both on & off the track, I think Alonso still has plenty of barganing chips leftPlatinumZealot wrote: ↑14 Oct 2017, 16:27Back on the driver salaries... Vandoorne is making a name for himself recently by looking quite the match for Alonso in Q and race. Alonso's negotiating leverage must surely be on the decline after this?
Yer I hear that... but who else they gonna get? the other 4 big names aren’t going to drive not Macca right now
