Yeah, my fault.. forgot about that.

Anyway.. he will probably be signed as a reserve driver replacing Button, nothing more.
If Mclaren were afraid that Alonso wouldnt sign, they would be looking for options. Lando is not ready yet and they need a more experienced driver.

It's not how good the Renault PU can perform, it's how well Mclaren can integrated it.. No where to hide for Mclaren, Like many have said before. The Renault is a race winner in the new v6 era, it will be interesting. I'd bet on them not getting it right, Mclaren's Mojo has gone ever since Mercedes left and took it with them.

I wouldn't mind being proven wrong though.

How many races has renault won on merit? I know of 1.

I really hope they get Lando in to F2 next year. I don't want to see him in GP3. He won the Euro F3 as a rookie, so was very impressive! Not many have done that.

He has been tipped to take Leclerc's seat at Prima racing for 2018, so hopefully he can do exactly what Charles has done. Winning by a mile as a rookie.

He was negotiating a deal with ART but apparently Lance Stroll is a major sharehold and vetoed the deal, can someone enlighten us why would he do that?

There are very few spots now and I dont think Prema would be one.

I know he bought the F3 outfit for his son, but I've never heard anything that would link him to ART.
