So, being PP a long time trainee of Newey doesn't guarantee that he is capable as him
So there´s only two options, being as good as Newey, or being completely useless...
Sincerely j.yank, reading your posts it looks like you think your aero knownledge can be compared with Prodomou knowlege... is that the case?
Is it so hard to understand the difference between knowledge (science) and talent (craft)? And please, give me a break, I don't compare myself with PP, I compare Newey with PP. I will not say that PP is completely useless (these are your words).
I am just saying from what we see that PP hasn't achieved the craftsman of Newey. I think this is normal - we are not equal in everything - in any filed of life someone is better than the rest. If you think that PP must be equal to Newey this is your problem.
So please tell us here how on earth is it humanly possible for Peter Prod to achieve anything decent when his team has to design according to figures NOT delivered by his PU counterpart?! Please, I mean seriously guys, is it that hard to understand the relation between chassis design and manufacturing with PU size, weight, cooling needs,
AND power figures?!
When Mclaren made its decision to leave the partnership, it wasn't just Alonso or the alleged 100M, it was also key staff like Mr. Prod that could have abandon ship precisely due to that perception you just pointed out. Peter Prod left Newey/RBR to a head position at a team like Mclaren to actually prove his work and craftsmanship. Regrettably, this isn't possible when the other side of the equation (Honda) keeps under delivering and missing targets.
