OT
Ashley Force pulls off something no other female driver has ever done in history. The NHRA driver won the Southern Nationals to become the first woman to win a national Funny Car event.

regarding all of this talk about gender differences. From a purely biological point of view, a male of the human species is greater adapted to athleticism. way back when, it was men that would go out hunting and women would go out gathering, with all the fighting that has occured during the time man has been on earth, it appears that man has slightly faster reflexes and is slightly faster and stronger than the female counterpart. Also Men have 50% less pain nerves, so are able to with-stand a greater pounding.

TOday it is highly based upon pre-conceived ideals and stereotypes which govern to a high extent what we do. boys get cars, girls get dolls. Boys like blue, girls like pink/red (there's a genetic reason for girls liking red but that's not the point) these ideas are what's causing a huge difference between male and female racers. Would you reasonably, give your young daughter toy cars to play with from age 0?

Regarding Danica: I don't believe she should be brought into F1 purely because I don't think she's fast enough! It would be great to see it, if she was fast enough. Bourdais spent a long long time racing and winning before he got into F1 and he doesn't appear to be fast enough, yet.

did you watch qualifying in Barcelona? Bourdais was much better than Vettel and that is the only yardstick you can apply to backmarkers. I expect him to do a good job in F1. the guy is definetely under rated. he snubbed Flabby who offered him a slave contract and managed to kill all his other chances in F1 running the only team that would be particularly interested in a french driver.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

I did, I've yet to see him consistently out-pace Vettel. That will only become apparent over this season and possibly next. 1 race doesn't govern a season, as is very apparent in this one.
