Aston Martin Red Bull Racing TAG Heuer RB14

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Love the livery! I'm a little surprised though that it looks so "developed" as opposed to last year where the car was entirely clean.

That Renault really needs a little cooling

(pardon, Tag Heuer)

There seems to be empty space between Gbox and floor

What a packaging?! :o :o

It's like it doens't have an engine at all. Wow, it's like space-ship.

And the livery looks sleek as well.

Looks like they have kept the crash structure at the top and used that as a wing.
Correction: Looking closer it appears to be a simple wing on the top with the crash structure being the bottom of the (TINY) sidepod inlet.

The sidepod is very interesting because they’ve used the same loophole to push the start of the sidepod back but in a very different way to the Ferrari of last year.

As already mentioned, they don’t seem to have moved the crash structure and are instead using it as a BIG top wing.

The 360 cameras aren't as intrusive as I thought they would be after they tested them in Abu Dhabi.
