Scuderia Ferrari SF71H

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

2 tone halo - makes it look skinnier?

'Sauber' style double sidepod intakes, longer wheelbase.
Not seen that. They look like the just look like small intakes.

At first glance i though they had split the intake down the middle. But its just controlling the flow around the side pods

Its the prettiest Ferrari I've seen in many years, also the best integration of the halo I've seen so far, paint wise
Agreed, man that thing is lean!

Well, many teams copied their side intakes, Ferrari aparently copied the Mclaren front wing pillars.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

I meant above/behind and below the mid-wing, not the outer part. Having looked at it more anyway I think it's just the same single-intake with the mid-wing splitting it.

I think they use the wing mirrors to guide air underneath the halo, theres an air intake in front of the mirror, and a flap on the upper side of the mirror, where i think the air exits underneath this flap

Single 'front' sidepod intake. The outer piece is just for guiding air around the sidepod.
I think he was referring to the SF70H style upper intake area.

Wow it still has some rake. Also edges of frontwing flaps remind me on MCL32

Quite high T-wing attached to the end of the shark fin. Basically the same as last year, just lower and a bit more overall curve.
