The pullrod geometry may also benefit from being more inclined, the outboard pick-up looks like it might be higher along with the upper arm pivot. Getting closer to a 45* angle in front/rear view.

Looking at the nose... Was the cape so inclined last year?

One of the slots in front of the rear wheel is connected to each other. Wouldn't that make it illegal, as the hole now is fully closed?
PReviously teams got around the no holes rule, by adding a small opening at the outboard edge, making it a cut out instead of a hole. With the connector it does create a hole

Looks to me that every team “chooses” a plane of disturbance. With the W09 that is higher then the other teams, with the raised front wishbones and the high and wide side pods with a huge undercut. Then Ferrari has normal front suspension and the bulk of the side pod is under the waist while RedBull had something in between.

What slight changes at the front mean for the design for the rest of the car.

Are those cuts in the floor new?

Maybe that`s their answer to Ferrari`s & Red Bull`s having practically another rear wing in front of the side-pods air intakes ... Hope these floor cuts are in the same vertical plane of car`s CoG in order to further increase mid and also overall car`s DF ...

And on another note is it me or now they have narrower hence smaller sidepods air-intakes?

Looks much shorter than last year.

Could be the black paint at the coke bottle area that gives that illusion.

Oh, it's not a winglet. It's a connector holding up the floor! Looks like the gearbox entirely floats above the floor now and to top it flexing they have to attach the two with a connector.
