As I said Mclaren are trying to set best lap time from the very beginning to show all were Honda's fault. But it ended up with a mclaren fault.
I think that's a bit over the top, though this might actually be an attempt to lure in sponsors. Sauber did this in the past as well.
A wheel nut failure isn't a big issue. However, if this caused damage to the floor, than they will much bigger problems. Anyone who watched the Grand Prix Driver documentary knows the huge lead times on the floor and how last year they had to scrap their 'promotional run' before pre season testing because of the delays on the floor.
Meanwhile, Honda/STR are putting in work!
