I like how the sidepod vertical deflector is attached deep on the floor, close to the sidepod's foot.
And the additional big deflector whisch is black and barely visible.

As well as new colours, the shape of the VJM11 will evolve considerably during the next month, as Andrew Green explains: “The DNA of the car is still very much that of last year’s car. We took the decision, quite a while ago, that the launch specification of the 2018 car would be based around our understanding of the 2017 car, but with all new structures required by the regulations in place. It is a starting point, a good reference from which to introduce changes quite quickly; it gives our aerodynamics department more time to develop a car for the first race in Australia, rather than having to release parts early for testing.”

Possibly my least technical post...

I like it!!
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

I liked the matte much better, I see taped over (or at least blanks fitted) to the top of the halo in 3 places so they will be using a flow conditioner add on wing as well I think.

I concur, looks great, but I hope they can bring those development aero parts in quick!

- The Halo is also to blame that Force India had to give up certain developments that you actually wanted to tackle. For example, the shortened side boxes to Ferrari model. "We had to build a new chassis because of the Halo. As a result, there was no capacity for such a major rebuild as the side boxes. This is a project for 2019, "regrets technical director Andy Green.
