Well, it's been a
while since the last official installment. They will have to do something fairly spectacular to compete with all the open platforms that sport some really stunning simulations already. This could involve capitalising on offical F1 live data or something like that.
I hope the platform will be adaptable enough to accommodate playing experiences from "arcade" to "full on simulation" ... having seen some of the external POV solutions I'm not actually brimming with confidence that this will satisfy the seriously technically minded. But it has to be said, I have no idea what the Codemasters' EGO Engine is capable of.
There's actually an open Codemasters forum for the project, so with luck some of the suggestions will be taken seriously. Perhaps there are employment opportunities emerging with this as well, I can imagine some F1T members having highly applicable skills.
