Not yet, but few sources at track reporting the same thing

Loss of hydraulic pressure could be anything, so that doesn't say much.

The pace is horrible considering they where doing a series of timed laps, and now they can even do that because of reliability.I don't think they will ever be a champions again.

You simply can't not laugh about it.

I can because I am not petty like some people. I don't revel in the failures of others.

That being said me thinks you are all being a little aggressive about McLaren in the preseason test.

Moving to a new PU has issues for most teams.

In 2014 Red Bull WON RACES and their test was a complete and utter shambles. They were cutting holes, drilling, didn't fit the PU to the car until the actual test, had cooling issues etc, fuel flow issues etc. and that was when they were the "de facto" works team.
Have to agree with this. The fact that Toro Rosso hasn't had any problems so far isn't the norm but rather surprising
in 2014 McLaren had the best PU and only managed a podium at one race, because, basically, everybody failed to finish.
And your point is? In 2012 they had the best chassis and engine. So?

Yeah, those comments always makes me laugh. This would mean that if you produce one or more bad chassis, you can never win a race again.

This means that they have been on the back foot since Mercedes sold them back their shares, late 2012. Hoping they can do the same as RedBull in 2014 is a long long stretch.

Since Mc Lauren used Mobil fuel they were 50 HP down on the petronas fueled cars....

Mclaren said they menaged to deal whit all the problems of new PU integration but they didn't, it will be a strugle in the first half of season and by the time they solve it, it will already be too late.
Difficult time ahead.

Why do you say that? I remember that Mclaren made a decision quite early in last season to break the deal.

Always find the gap then use it.

It's testing, stop talking about losing half a season. It's better to find these problems now then in Melbourne. Glad some of you aren't running these teams.

Speaking of Toro Rosso, they did just 1 lap in the afternoon session. Definitely some kind of issue. Had this been mclaren Honda it would have been well publicised and all the doom and gloom stories all over the Web would be pooping up at this moment...
Sorry but with quotes from Boullier yesterday saying "now we have a F1 car" is Mclaren who are shooting on their own foot
