The center section of the RRB diffuser has evolved quiet alot since end of last year. It's much wider now.

I think its an illusion. Last year the cars got wider so will give this impression. Its slim, but not as much it looks.

Can anybody tell me what's meant with "shakedown tests"?

We got a long way through the test programme then, so we were able to try out some things in the afternoon and we took the decision to do some shakedown tests and the result was small electrical problem. We lost an hour as we had to change the battery but it was a calculated risk and we learned something as a result.

I don't think so. The yellow line in the second picture is probably not drawn correctly because the crash structure has been removed with Photoshop so that you cannot see exactly where the inlet starts.

True, true. Now, do you think the airway tightens just inside the inlet? If you look at the newest photo, there seems to be a bulge leading toward the driver just pasted the intake inlet. I would write it off as a lighting illusion but it appears on both sides of the car. Maybe just a strange reflection from the coolers?

I think that buldge is a frontal view on the radiators inside the sidepods.
