Ahh, the corriander effect. My favourite. It's about time.
Sorry this doesnt relate to flo-vis paint, but is that angle of attack possible without stall because of the exhaust flow?
Indeed. Just look at that huge amount of space between the sidepods and the floor... Low-drag-concept to the extreme. The low COG middle part is even wider than the front, but this way it is creating much less drag.
I don't think those are the right picture to retrieve any robust conclusion.gandharva wrote: ↑07 Mar 2018, 19:58Indeed. Just look at that huge amount of space between the sidepods and the floor... Here is the 2018 Merc as comparison. Yes, different angle and so on, but the difference is easily spottable and it's huge.

Yes, but as long as the optimized airflow to the rear and diffuser compensates for this effect, it doesn't matter, as a well-functioning diffuser is still the most efficient method of generating downforce.
Do you know, when this photo has been taken?gandharva wrote: ↑07 Mar 2018, 19:16This is what happened to RB14 X-wing in week 1:

The mounting at the front of the X-wing where it connects to the bargeboard assembly simply broke.
