Why is it with Mercedes that 6/10 times they do a quick time the media always overstates their tyre compounds 2 steps harder than actual, then quietly corrects the miss information? 2nd time today, earlier with Ham. I have never seen these mistakes with other teams... Strange?

The pink from the hypersoft and the white from the mediums are apparently too similar and difficult to separate when they drive past, even at pit lane speeds...something Pirelli could improve upon (at least we're not complaining about disintegrating tires anymore)

But in normal situation we will never see a pink next to a medium tyre, it will be pink/purple/red. But agreed they are hard to distinguish between.

Actually earlier on they had a Ultrasoft run down as Hypersoft for Hamilton so it was actually the other way around.
