We have not heard from Vandoorne about an hour now.
Is that so?

I thought they were practicing pit stops, just hope is not another 3 hour fix which will take 6 hours

Well, Ferrari is suddenly very fast so now they are showing their cards (and a lot of smoke). Ferrari seems very strong, Merc I believe has something in reserve and RedBull as well but Ferr is certainly in the mix now. Proven. I just fear they have still found a way to burn oil.

Bottas yesterday was on hypersofts (the 18.6) and magnussen just yet as well. These times are saying more then next to nothing but if you want to believe mistakes in reporting (like Bottas on mediums doing 18.6) that clouds it up even more then the missing information we are already guestimating about already (fuel load, stint simulation).

The problem with the wrong info about tire types is that they keep on being repeated on forums (like this one) so that makes it all very tough to discuss.

Yes, I actually expected some sanity from Ross. Liberty is going to move F1 so far away from tradition, it will be like a new formula... I mean show... Sad.

If this is the case, then it would be on the floor, so it would not create downforce, but only be an aero improvement by reducing drag...but why not, it would fit their concept.

Jeepers, that Merc is rapid. In race mode consistently doing 1.19's on worn medium tyres. That is quite some pace.
