Nope, I'd imagine its just the result he/she has looked at, and that would make someone think Ferrari won comfortably with a nice gap to the best Mercedes.

- RB drivers and Bottas underperformed so no other reference points, except Riccardo-Raikkonen, perhaps fuel but more like SC - tyre strategy

I believe he is referring to Lewis' laps catching up to Vettel at the end, just after Lewis made the mistake that put him 3-3.5 seconds behind. Within a matter of 3-4 laps the gap to Vettel was within a second again, despite Lewis stopping to change tires prior to the infamous safety car period (when Vettel did indeed pit).

If this change were to occur (again) it’s certainly not in the spirit of competition. All manufacturers were provided an identical product. Some are more successful in making that tyre work than others. Why should the tyre itself then be changed to suit the characteristics of one manufacturer more? This blows my mind. A Team principal: "Why should we change the tyres if Mercedes are the ones having problems? They should find out themselves how to manage."
