Oh my.... do your homework they say.

So you have done yours ??

2017..... Max had 4 in race retirements due to mechanical issues.
Bahrain - Brakes
Canada - Electrics
Azerbaijan - Engine
Spa - Engine

You knew that obviously.

Daniel had 5 + 1 (being punted off the road by max in Hungary )

Australia - Engine
Russia - Brakes
USA - Engine
Mexico - Turbo
AbuDhabi - Hydraulics

You choose to ignore this ?

Also I'd like to add, Danny had more mechanicals towards the end of the year when the Red Bull was a stronger car.

So all of this added up means Max had loads more points than danny..... oh wait.

Dont acuse people of being haters when the facts back them up.
In the way you write it is quite obvious you are a hater so just gonna ignore you with your late not completed homework :D
The typical reply from someone who knows they are wrong and has no way to get out the hole they have dug.
A bit embarrasing when facts make you a hater....Nathan may have a bias toward a certain driver and/or team, but he hasn't let that blind him from facts - now go and try that for yourself, it's quite eye-opening.

Because of reliability, do your homework next time instead of hate posts.

While all of the points are valid, especially the car was stronger towards the end. You also need to factor in that, every failure that Max suffered, he was ahead of Ric and could have got all those podiums that Ric got and even Baku win. When Ric suffered failures, Max was ahead in most too. So, had the season been reliable for both, Max could have finished ahead of Ric. That's my 2 cents.

good point, for some reason I'm thinking the US Grand prix, Ric was in a great position when the car failed. Not sure if thats correct or not. I just seem to remember it that way

Yeah its the Bahrain GP, and people were discussing how Max screwed up, and someone started comparing Max's caliber to Hamilton's a few pages back and here we are.

I guess people are discussing the racing incident between Hamilton and Verstappen.
They both could avoid the contact, at the moment of impact Hamilton had plenty space on the left, and Verstappen had plenty space on the right. Eventhough that Verstappen had to move to the left to not drive into Alonso I think they both could/should/would make te corner.

So both where wrong

Edit: And thats why there was no investigation at all...

This was the point of contact, I would hardly say Hamilton had plenty of space on the left, his front wheel was on the white line! And looking at the line max was taking, he was coming over more to the left at that point, he was straightening out his car. It wasnt Hamilton moving right.

Being a Vettel fan, I have to be honest that I got quite a bit of satisfaction for Max's punctures. This is karma for last year in Canada, Singapore (wasn't really his fault :D), and Mexico

I have a question: if Raikkonen didn't retire which pace could he have on SS? If I remember correctly the Ferrari driver was 2 second behind Bottas when he pitted, with 22 laps remaining it means gaining more than 1 second per lap, overtaking Hamilton and Bottas. Was it doable?

Yeah, I asked that earlier but no one really talked about it. I think obviously he would have caught Lewis, but Im not sure about Bottas and Vettel. Also It could have had an effect on the outcome in a way that Mercedes would have probably had to drive faster earlier on. So IF their tyres lasted ok being pushed for longer, Maybe Merc would have won the race. Who knows.

For sure Hamilton didn’t gave an inch.. you are allowed to cross the with line with two wheels.. so no harm in doing that right there..

But hé, ifs and buts..

At least it has set the tone for the remainder of the season- who’s going to ‘swallow’ next time?
