Chances of DC, Vettel and Piquet Doing A Driver Shuffle

What’s the likelihood of the article i saw on the F1T main page (http://www.f1technical.net/news/9330) yesterday actually happening???

DC to Renault to replace Piquet
Vettel to take DCs seat at Red Bull
Piquet to Toro Rosso so he can mature as a F1 Driver in a lower pressure environment.

What are the chances this will happen??? What are you’re views???

Just MHO, and biased . . .

DC to Renault to replace Piquet -- DC does not deserve what I think is a promotion. And Renault should be able to do better. DC does add experience, true, but Alonso has proven to be very able at sorting and developing a car, so what does DC really add?

Vettel to take DCs seat at Red Bull -- like this move a lot. Vettel deserves it. And he might push Webber a bit.

Piquet to Toro Rosso so he can mature as a F1 Driver in a lower pressure environment. -- I think Piquet deserves the chance to develop. This move could help him.

Overall: can't see it happening. Too many moves at this point in the season; too many contracts; too many personalities (read: Alonso would have to approve DC)

There may be something in the pipeline indeed...

I feel that ING are putting some pressure on Renault to get someone better than Piquet as to get exposure on TV, that alone makes me wonder wither it could be on.

Renault need someone that can back up Alonso, but not so weak that they have to have his tail gunner all the way down the grid, DC would get that R28 into the top 10 shootout lots, meaning ING would feel way better about their multi million pound sponsorship deal.

Personally I don’t think it’s down to the Teams, I think there is going to be Sponsors putting pressure on Renault for that to happen.

I think that there may be another one or two driver changes before the end of the season as well.

It is certainly possible that ING may have enough clout to influence Renault's drivers, but I hope that Renault's management have enough pride to hire whoever THEY think is best for the team.

Just another example of how F1 has regressed to the point where it is becoming just another media for multi-national marketing, like web sites, billboards, and various forms of print and electronic advertisements. It may be inescapable, but it just doesn't feel right.

This brings back memories of Honda pressuring their clients to use Japanese drivers (Nakajima?)
