Not necessarily. EB said this was a new aero philosophy. What McL is doing here may work with their own philosophy but not necessarily Merc’s as well

Don't wanna be that guy but I don't think the nose itself has a big influence on overall performance.

It most likely doesn't, it just allows for the rest of the package to work.

So this new nose doesn't seem to have any external adjustable parts? If not then this is just to speed up and clean up the air travelling over the diffuser (efficiency)? I know I may be asking a dumb question but normally someone in the know clarifies it quite quickly. We just want to understand what makes this nose significant.

Simply put, the nose and turning vanes are setting up the airflow for the bareboards. I guess this nose brings more 'controlled' air to the bargeboards which improves performance.

That nose scares me now. It will either get them a second like was whispered or be a huge drag like the mushroom suspension. Ultimately I trust PP knows what he’s doing

I wonder, why they changed the lower part of rear wing from orange to black. Does someone see anything different there?
