A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.
Datum points for camera/sensors to pickup, either for reference points wrt flowviz or checking sidepod deflection as possible cause of correlation issues.
Hell of an update, rear wishbones are interesting, looks like they're using them to accelerate the flow over the diffuser and onto the brake duct winglets.
Have to admit one thing that BWT money is definitely helping SFI with upgrades.
Looks like they have used all their energy to make sure that the package works in Barcelona. It will give them much better idea about the changes in the car since the tests.
If the rear works on this circuit properly then I think it should work on other high-downforce circuits too. I have heard that it is going to be windy during the race.
They have to rework the sidepods, since that is they area where the airflow is not matching with their theoretical model,so they either have to open up the package or close it or reduce the sidepods inlet (what scarbs says) , already I would say FI engine cover and sidepods look bulky, they indeed have to repackage the internals, like what RedBull have gone in this GP
