This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
TT: We had a poor start in Melbourne and unfortunately we lost some units already but we stick to the regulations and then also we are developing the performance and the reliability and then when we are comfortable to apply those development items we will update but basically we stick to the Formula One regulations.
Q: What can you tell us about those performance upgrades; when can we expect to see them?
You can't push for someone who doesn't want to race in F1 anymore, you might as well say they should push for Nico Rosberg, let's be realistic. From all indications, even Sebastian Buemi, who is a test driver for Red Bull wouldn't be keen, definitely Jean Eric Vergne isn't. So it isn't as though there is an abundance of quality drivers who are available.
If you have a competitive car then anyone expect Nico will take the drive in a heartbeat. Heck if it wasnt for Lewis, Nico would have stayed. Anyways Button is keen on racing and signed up for LeMans. Also he has now come out and spoken strongly against Mclaren and their lies and broken promises. Surely he is doing so to appease Honda and who knows maybe a drive for RedBull. Thats bit too far but who knows.

Same Button that said he stayed in F1 a year too long? Same Button that turned down Williams and preferred a 3rd driver role in Mclaren? He loves racing, yes, but after the nbr of races and his respectable career, he can opt to do something else, like he is doing. It's not impossible to get tired of F1 and the life of a driver.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

He grew tired of the --- show that 2015/2016 was and checked out. He is not coming back to formula1, he seems happy where he is.
This Hartley guy is a joke. There was so much media hype with this guy, along with Honda, he was in media every day. So far, nothing but mistakes and underdelivering.
I hope he'll be fine to start tomorrow from the pitlane. Gasly again looking competitive.

I think that the parts that were falling off were from the gearbox and possibly peripherals, although at that impact I'm expecting the entire PU to be a write off, including the ES.
Imagine what a turnaround though if the PU did survive such G forces
