Williams is a horrible car at the moment. I doubt Kubica would be a big step forward either.

It proves though that Mclaren is much faster than they have shown so far this weekend.

Also I'm afraid Vandoorme won't be in Q3.

If anything it proves that the car is only better than Williams. Alonso is Godly in this track and qualified into Q3 last year with a turd of a car. Vandoorne is a good reference for car performance not Alonso

Kubica will draw a lot more attention,money and the talent that they've hemorrhaged for years, and I think he showed yesterday he's still more than fast enough even jumping in for a single section
