After all that development and associated costs... The car is still slower than a Haas! What the hell McLaren?!
I think it was good, not great, not excellent. they're moving in the right direction.

I'm pleased with the Qualy result, we missed P7 by 0.04 to MAG, and I'm sure in the race tomorrow we can improve.

VAN, please step up your game in Qualy, please!
i am very slightly disappointed that replica of Ferrari makes me angry. but very good job with updates i guess after test tuning this update will be able to deliver 2 or 3 tenths more.

I think this update will be a modest step forward but we won't see the McLaren hit it's stride until Silverstone, maybe France at the earliest.

Also McLaren's race pace is always better than their qualifying performance. It looks like the new turbo is working.

Second sector starts right before turn 4 and goes on to right before the hairpin turn 10. That's all mid speed traction events, and stability under braking. The really fast turn 9 which I'm sure was flat for Alonso.

In Monaco with an update, they should be a bit more competitive

Why ur chinese
I didnt get it as well.
It’s a mystery to me.
He said Alonso lost 2 sectors in 1 second and 1 second in 3 second and in 2nd second he lost 2 sector.....it's obvious.

Nothing is causing drag. The reason we are not clear best of the rest yet is the problem in warming our tyres for that qualifuing run. If you noticed Alonso did almost the same tymes with Medium. Softs and Super Softs even though the Super Softs are insanely faster than Medium.

This is their best time from the Spanish pre-season test, no improvement whatsoever. Can someone care to explain this ? I'm surprised none of you have taken note!

Ps- introductions are in order. I am a lawyer with an unhealthy obsession with F1. I have been visiting this forum for years, but only now have I taken the active step to contribute. Best.

Points are given on Sundays....and Haas does not exsist on sundays.
