I think sainz was beatable today but he just got held up by leclerc a lot

The good thing I can take so far from this year is that ditching Honda was the correct move. So far they are getting wrecked. That is as clear as a sunny day.

So far our reliability is one of the best.

Borning race, we got unlucky and stuck behind Sauber, but hey we can get lucky every race, but one thing is obvious it will be a dead race till end with Renault for P4 in constructors

I don't think so. I believe that we will soon outdevelop Renault. This week we are having some tests in Spain. It's a good chance to understand the new package and let's hope to bring some more things there in order to fix whatever problems we have.

I agree, by the time he cleared Leclerc, he probably lost a lot of tyre performance. But shouldn't they have tried to undercut Leclerc?

The gap to Sainz was stable. Nothing big to worry about. Updates contributed to the pace, more of them will be on its way. Sauber's top speed advantage hampered our chances for fighting Renault. Our stronger race pace is still there I'd say. Let's get the best out of the in season testing to get back stronger.

Anyone know what updates they are planning for Monaco? Are they gonna still be as significant as this one and are they gonna solve the tyre problem?

Mclaren, right now, is a midfield team.Everyone except top 3 teams got lapped. They can't close the gap to the top 3 teams in such a short time. They moved to a new engine, meaning the chassis changed significantly as well. They are clearly in a fight for the 4th spot in the constructors. They are bringing updates which seems to be contributing to their pace. They are on the right path, so much different from their previous seasons. I can see a bright road ahead unlike the Honda times. Just look at the picture right now and compare them to before. All these make them mediocre?

Please don't expect them to be fighting with the top 3 until next season at least. That is the reality and I can see that. I just find all this bashing unfair.
