McLaren MCL33

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Almost a Carbon Copy of Mclaren's Rear Wing.

This then does not look like the problem area for Mclaren.

Well Mclaren's main issue was traction out of slow corners... according to many here.
Always find the gap then use it.

Main issues are rumoured to be in traction areas and slow speed corners, both of these point more to issues with the mechanical setup rather than with aero.

And then some say that McLaren is the new Williams... Obviously their aero is pretty solid, the whole grid (literally) has copied different elements of it. It's sad though not to see them taking advantage out of it thanks to the low-speed traction/tyre temperature or whatever issues holding em back.

Looks like Alonso is testing new horizontal winglets/turning vanes on the inboard side of the sidepod leading edges.
