More details about McLaren's technical leadership changes are becoming public as it has now become clear that Toro Rosso's highly valued technical director, James Key, is set to join McLaren in the same role.
This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
1] Alonso had to do two laps with zero deployment because of switching to a wrong map as evidenced by the radio conversations between him and his engineer.
2] Alonso was fighting with Leclerc for 2 or 3 laps during which his laps weren't representative.
3] If you take out these two out, Alonso's laps were in low 1 min 34's just like Hulkenberg's.
Clearly you have not bothered to even look in to the lap times and the circumstances and just chose to shoot from your hip.
Nicos laptime is below 34 for at least 3 laps and low 34 unlike Alonso who is about low to mid 34. But obviously u ignore that for ure arguement.
About the fuel on cars who cares beacuse only each team would know how much they put in their car. No point speculating about it.
nico's times were also better in the first 3 or 4 laps, suggesting that maybe his tires dropped off really quickly. there are a lot of variables that will pop up on sunday. mclaren have been pretty good at taking advantage of them. but we shall see.
Ouch! Vandoorne +0.9 s over Alonso is just way too much in qualifying. For his sake I hope he has got the backing of Zak. For Mclarens' sake however, I would like to see what Norris could do in this car in comparison to Alonso.

Quite disappointing, he really needs to do more. But according to Ed Straw, there's a Vettel clone hidden somewhere inside him.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Doesn't matter what we think or like he is the shareholders guy. He was appointed last year! Like it or not he isn't going anywhere soon. so stop moaning about it.
What? Moaning?
Did you even read what I wrote? I’m defending him.
There's a saying in my country regarding today's Mclaren Qualifying form, it goes like this; Jad i bijeda.
Oooook, meaning?
