Felipe Massa should be fired

Post

I am sure that people will disagree with me saying that Felipe is a joint leader in the Driver's Championship, and that he's won 3 races so far this season. Taking into account that EVERY F1 driver is good, I really don't understand why he makes such stupid mistakes, and they keep hanging on to him! Just remember Australia, Malaysia and Silverstone. Those mistakes aren't fit for any F1 driver, let alone a Ferrari one! Just imagine what the Brazilian press is saying about his embarrassing performance yesterday compared to Barrichello's.
Maybe he is driving a Ferrari because his manager is Jean Todt's son, and if that's the case why not put Sebastien Bourdais in the second Ferrari for next year. After all, I'm sure he'd do a better job,... and he has the same manager.

Let us all ignore this and other threads that really show a total ignorance of reality.

Future posters, if you feel the need to rant, please go outside and yell a bit, kick a garbage can, chase a chicken, whatever. THEN, if you still feel the need, begin a thread.

I respect that this is 'general chat' now but these trolling threads are getting ridiculous.

I can only agree this is one heck of a Trolling thread. Geesh, Massa is tied for the lead in the Grand Prix Driver's Standings (48 points) and someone wants to discuss firing him?
Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.

Jajaja Giblet you are doing the opposite of what you say!
I think it´s easier to gather signs and report the thread to our moderators and ask them to delete this and other threads. I would like to see if "smusi" IP is the same that "kekekeke". Even if he changed IP there must be a way to track its location in order to cut him off.

And BTW, Felipe is a Master in his art: seven spins and no gravel trap could caught him. He could write a book and give conferences about that:
"HOW TO RECOVER FROM DIFFICULT SITUIATIONS" by Felipe Massa.

If you want me to call you an IDIOT, you are going to be dissapointed.
Maybe we should fire him, he's not leading the championship, he's tied up with two other bums and IF THEY are doing as bad as Massa, shouldn't we swing the old battle axe on the lot of them. ](*,)

I dont think Massa should be fired at all. Everyone here knows how it goes in F1. one minute your hot then the next your cold. I recall Massa being called the hottest driver in F1 after Mangy Cours. He made a couple mistakes at Silverstone but dont forget even with all his mistakes this season he still won 3 GP's and is tied for the tittle.

Bellati, you have given the troll the response he wanted, talking about what he said.

That's called troll fuel. I asked all the users to let it go away, and you retrolled. jajajaja indeed.

Trolls are fun as long as they are 14 years old kids who are learning in the world. If the troll is a 40 years old guy writing that in his spare time he is bloody stupid!

Giblet, sometimes you have got to back off 1 step to get 2 steps ahead
Next time, reporting the thread would be good

I do agree that Massa is a bit of a lucky man to be ending up at Ferrari when there is little credit to support him. On the high side, he is very fast on good days, He is faster than Michael and Kimi. On the low side, thats all he can do. If he is under pressure from someone behind, he tends to yield. If the tires suddenly loose temperature, he drives like an idiot. Then of course, there are so many mistakes from him and he can't consolidate points either.

To be able to harness so much speed out of the car is amazing. Massa is a talented man. However, he lack of confidence and guts means he will not end up on top. I fear he is plague by his own lack of confidence.

You ever notice the way he answers questions on interview? He is so timid, even after he won. When on the podium, he never really gets pumped up like the way Alonso, Hamilton or Schumacher does.

Sure if he is lucky, he will get the championship this year. Just remember this, both Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneueve won one championship and could never repeat it again which proves that a proper car can win for you even if you are not great.

We saw excellent examples of defensive driving in the German GP. Why on earth did Felipe Massa let Hamilton past? Why didn't he defend his position at least a bit? Would Alonso in a Ferrari be as easy to pass? I really don't understand. Of course he's a talented person, but definitely not a smart one!

I would point out that Damon moved teams when he won the WDC...hence he had no chance of winning it again and his first title should have come a year or 2 earlier (can't remember off hand) when Schumi barged him off the road.

Felipe Massa is an intelligent man, he won't have his current job otherwise.

After the race Massa and Ferrari stated that his brakes were failing in the end, that's why he "let" Hamilton pass.

As for the point of the thread, the Problem with an uppercase P of Massa is that he takes too many risks because he has the balls of a lion.

Anyway, should Felipe Massa be fired? Yes. Something else?

Trolls, trolls.... mmmm. I haven't seen a troll around here. True trolls, like true drivers, are to be feared, they cannot be handled that easy. If you can handle him, he's not a troll.
