Sometimes I feel like Haas is Ferrari testing mule. Then again, some solutions are too unique for something else to be transferred to Ferrari, side pod deflectors come to my mind first.

Would it be a far reach to think that with various philosophies (aerodynamically speaking) to try that Ferrari have said ok we are following this one you try that one and we both develop them and see which has the most potential? In this process no one can accuse us of collaboration as they are different paths..........

Not per se a news about the car, but it is important from the stance of car development. Like Ferrari hired Hirohide Hamashima for 2012 and had a definitive advantage in understanding tyres in early 2012/2013, so did Haas bring another man from Bridgstone to aid with tyre understanding - Hiroshi Tomitsuka.
