I think that it is a nightmare for Merc to choose on which tyres to start. For Ferrari it would be better to have different tyres than Merc. If Merc is on S Ferrari on US and vice versa. However, I have a feeling that all of them will start on Softs.

In my opinion the best possible outcome from this race (for Ferrari) is Ham 1st and Vet 2nd, I don't think it will doable to pass both MER in event-free race. More probabily it is going to be a 1-2 for MER.

What I feed is another DNF for Vettel and 1st place for Hamilton.

The most important is track position. I think Bottas start on S as he could retain Ferrari plus he'll play the long game and Hamilton on US as he needs to keep that track position on turn 1. Ferrari has nothing to lose so they might put their two cars on S or even M who knows... in order to finish very strongly on US with a lighter car the race.

So, Hamilton Kimi fight for the win and Bottas Vettel for the 3rd spot.

Im expecting Ferrari to put Kimi on US to get a launch and push Hamilton and Bottas out in the first two corners, giving Vettel track position and then Vetttel to win the race via team orders.

It makes sense for Ferrari to split strategies i think.

Send Kimi on US, do an aggressive undercut, force Mercedes to make a move.

And a green track. That's got to play in to Ferrari's hands.

Of interest is that Vettel has one extra set of new US available. Perhaps he could risk a two stopper using the extra pace.

If Mercedes lead 1-2 after the first lap, with Hamilton in front of Bottas, I fully expect Bottas to start going really slowly to build a buffer for Hamilton later in the race.
