I think the only thing that spoiled it for me was Tony Ross's instruction to Bottas after the race to run in formation "to show our Italian colleagues"... I don't mind running in formation to celebrate, but knowing that the radio messages were going to be aired and saying that for me was completely unnecessary and was akin to rubbing salt in Ferrari's wounds... which is not how Mercs operate imo... yeah it may have been a bit of light banter but Tony Ross just seemed wrong...

It's corporate warfare, no better way to win then getting under your opponents skin, and unnerving them.

That's the beauty of fight between teams. It's psychological games. Just like Lewis at Spa where he talked about 'tricks'. It could be tricks to make Ferrari think they have the upper hand on straight line speed.

That's was not very elegant...at all.
But many seems to forget what Mercedes did in past.

O please, I'd bet my next pay check that Monza 2017 had nothing to do with what Vettel Said.

I seriously don't understand how some fans get so butt hurt about this. They act like 5 year olds complaining Mercedes walked up and took their lollipop!

Well actually at Silverstone we all cheered for Vettel when he won even though 90% of the people in the grandstand including myself were supporting Merc. Then again at Spa I ended up in a sea of Max fans and still everyone cheered when Vettel won.

It seems to me that it's just the tifosi than tend to act like apes.

To be fair, Monza is Ferrari. It’s not like any of the other venues can be attributed to a singular team, unlike Monza/Ferrari. And I’d also say that most of the Tifosis are fans of Ferrari, not the drivers.

Just saying. I am not justifying that the booing is right, just putting some context to it.
