Williams FW41 Mercedes

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

That is interesting considering that generally, F1 aero seems to be following a natural, organic design. General front wing development. 2017 Mercedes barge boards. 2018 Ferrari side pods. 2018 Red Bull diffuser.

Visually this looks like a backwards step.

Williams for a many seasons have run very thick, rounded FW inboard elements compared to other teams (near the neutral section). I wonder why.

Can anyone please shed some light on the dial marked 'Tyre' for me please?

What could be controlled by that many graduations from within the car?
