I dont know exactly why was he fired, but:

a) Ron wants sex scandals far away
b) Ron is "a bit" gay (not materialized) and thus insecure of what he might do while flying bored. Real males (like me ) doesn´t discriminate gays cause are sure of their sexuality AND remember gays have lots of female friends

Mr Boland, who was dismissed from his £32,000-a-year job last September, claimed that the rumours, spread by management, led to unwanted advances from a male colleague.

the dismissed person was "touched up" after he was accused to be gay. now I ask myself :

1. why being gay supposedly makes him unfit to serve Ron Dennis

2. how many gay people are employed by McLaren (150 out of +1000?) and are they going to make lie detector tests to get rid of them?

3. If they should detect one of their drivers is gay would they can them as well?

As with all these stories there is usually two sides. We've only heard the flight attendent's so far. Perhaps he made an inappropriate remark, got caught doing something he shouldn't, or behaved in a way that was considered inappropriate. Got th sack as a result and then feeling bitter start suggesting it was related to his sexual preference and threatened legal action. At which point he was told not to make trouble and shut up.

Who knows, best just to let the whole story come out from both side first.

according to the source I quoted the hearing will not be before January 2009 because Mr. Dennis will be using the McLaren jet constantly to fly around the world. So we may only expect some more news about this in 6 months time.
