Did Mclaren had any new parts or is this result track specific?

You should be the one telling us.. :D
I have't been following 2018 car development much, i heard problem is in packaging and that 2019 car numbery are world apart better. Of course it means little whitout Alonso on board. As seen in todays qualis, you need driver otherwise you will endup like Ferrari.
Good point. They'd be dead last this year with him.

So Bob Fernley had a meeting with Zak Brown, Jonathan Neale and Simon Roberts at Singapore today. Interesting...

He would be a great addition to the team IMHO [if it happens of course].

Norris is the real deal, I think he has the potential to be a Riccardo/Vettel tier driver.

If it is the clip shown in Ted's notebook, It more like having a casual coffee together than a meeting.
Still, quite often these 'chats' are more productive as nothing is on or off the table.

It's a coincidence as much as it is a coincidence that they are all in the same city this weekend.

Good result and much needed points. Vandoorne was driving well too, shame he didnt start in P12, he could be in top 10 easily.

On a track with no real straights we are best of the rest, can't complain with that. Imagine the season if it didn't have it's fundamental flaw !!

Anyone got Alonso's race pace? It looked really promising, he also pulled a big gap to Sainz in the end. Plus got the fastest lap? Didn't catch this.

I think KMag got the fastest lap in the end, after switching to hypersofts.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

11 of those seconds were made by Ericsson holding Sainz up, but still the car performed superbly related to the tyres.
