Doesn't sound like he's enjoying it. If Zak is considering it ..it's because Alonso's fed up with being at the back.
Still think they should give Norris Vandoorne's car if they have to swap drivers. At least with Alonso they have an outside chance at points on some weekends.
But I would really like to see a head-to-head of SV and Lando in a proper racing environment.
We will hear about 'what if' for a couple of seasons now without really knowing
Why not with Alonso, given he's the benchmark.

Not really, he is Alonso. Past champion etc retiring.
SV is the guy who 'was never given a chance to show' etc and the one LN will always be judged against
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

It's the longest straight so I guess makes sense.
It only makes sense if you don't really want to know how fast the speeds are at the fastest point on that straight and are really trying to find how much they had to slow down to take that curve.

You can see that Ferrari and Merc are running the most DF
I think everyone is flat out through there anyway with these cars so entry speeds dictates speed trap stats more.

From the 2017 Hamilton On-board he hits 317 down that straight before slowing for the curve. What I did notice is it's up hill.

When is a driver driving for 2 years for the same team considered not being given a chance? When driving along side Alonso. It's such BS.

I know that's not what you're saying BT..

They Compare SV to Mag but Mag still isn't GREAT. He's a middle of the pack guy. SV is older than MAG right now. Mag was 20-22 when he was with McLaren.

Just forget SV.

In his notebook Ted said Zak might be considering giving Norris the car for the last few races since it's better than seeing Alonso push to the limit and be dead last. But Fernando might like to enjoy possibly his last ever races in F1. Maybe they should give him Vandoorne's car.
Might be considering. I really doubt (actually don't believe) that Alonso will end his F1 career a couple of races before the end of the season.

By this point it's not even funny anymore, it's just sad.
The article was updated. McLaren did NOT forget to order tires ;)

Hi Guys!

I've been a McLaren fan since early 2000's. Follow this season I start to lost the hope to see my favourite team on the top or close to the top. Names such as Honda, Boulier, Zak Brown, Prodromou, Renault... I don't never trust them.

Could you write me some positive information, prediction about the next year?

The team you are a fan of no longer exists. The names you mention is that team now.

Nothing positive for next year. When the boss says maybe in 10 years, don't expect much in 1 year.
Finally, everyone knows that Red Bull is a joke and Max Verstappen is overrated.

You are forgetting a new driver line up with two drivers who are pretty decent, but not more then decent... so no. The future doesn't look bright.

Little I made, 2019 edit is on the right half of the car. I tried to include the following: New front wing, wider airbox, new rear wing dimensions, sidepod update(tried to copy Mercedes) which inludes horizontal element, and narrower entry.

Focused on next years car, money shouldn’t be a problem for them
