Good chance the Coca Cola sponsoring for the American GP’s is primarily to have some big customers over for a very special jet set threatment. Expect some big retail owners with McLaren badges in the paddock this weekend.

I think there's a verbal agreement for next year, maybe with Monster, based on performance of the car.

Unlikely to be Monster given their links to Hamilton who has his own personal flavour of Monster along with Valentino Rossi. Rockstar perhaps?

Personally I think a Coca Cola/McLaren tie-up could be excellent for both parties; both have the history, pedigree, brand awareness and broad demographic that most of their rivals don’t. Coca Cola can also tailor their advertising to whichever of their 500 brands they want to advertise on a given weekend like the Vodafone/Verizon or Lucozade/Maximuscle strategy that McLaren sponsors ran in years previously.

Extreme might be slightly too harsh it's a high calorie beverage it's not actually particularly bad for you unlike say vodka
