I know the teams need a break for their employees but most still keep developing the cars full time anyway. The break sucks for the fans so what is the point?

For a true race fan 3 weeks is a long time to be off especially when theres not a lot of races. I also watch Motogp and there off for like 20 days. I guess I will be watching a lot of Nascar until F1 and motogp comes back.

I hate the 3-week gap races. Before you could always say "There's a GP next weekend!"...well, now you can't :(

A bit of both worlds in my opinion...It sucks for the fans, but it's great for the people who provide us with our favorite form of motorsports entertainment. After the provisional schedule came out for the 2009 season--which doesn't feature the traditional 'summer break'--I remember the broadcasters and websites reporting that the mechanics & personnel weren't too happy about it! :D So, for me, I think: we'll just give them this one. :D

The last 3 races have been excellent, so no wonder you are annoyed there is a 3 week break!
It will certainly make the Valencia race all the more exciting because we have to wait! :)

Fortunately, I am busy enough not to have time to watch TV...
