It all sounds very very promising, but we will only find out when Australia's-Q1 starts in a few months time!

I think Honda deserves some success for their hard work and determination!

We will learn somethings at melbourne and somethings later that. But I think we will learn if they were fast or not at preseason testings.

Overall a positive season I think. Still some work to be done in regards to reliability and power, but it's nice to close off the season no longer the clear worst engine. This was said to be the make-or-break season for Honda, and they made it.

With all the new parts being tested (along with the penalties that came with them), Honda should have plenty of good data to come back next year with an ever better lump.

Yes, a big step in performance and reliability over last season. Remember when Honda was struggling to get through just a single race weekend with one of their PUs lasting?

Maybe Hartley was hired to be a tester? And now that he served his purpose (and because of lacking place) was disposed of.

I am sure that it decision of choosing Hartley for the seat is afdected by his hybrid experience. Maybe his performance of wec too.
If I do not know wrong, wec car's hybrid System working from front wheels of the wec car. Or maybe from 4 wheels. At the end it is some kind of 4wd car. I think adapting to F1 car is a bit harder than coming from gp2 car, because of that difference . I don't know could he develop enough to race in F1, if he were have one more season.

I would imagine WEC is all about being careful in your racing so you make it to the end versus F1 being more a sprint race in comparison. Hartley just couldn't "flip the switch" and be more aggressive in his style.

He's getting warmed up properly at around the 4th hour of racing...
