Why is everyone freaking out about this? Renault's engine was quite longer than Honda was with all of the turbo stuff in the back. Honda in comparison looked like a really compact engine.

Eeeexactly, Honda has a split turbo like Merc with only the exhaust flow part at the back of the engine and the inlet compression part on the front connected by a rod straight through the engine. Renault had (has) a big fat honking turbo right at the back. And indeed the Honda from last year was already quite neatly compact.

As expected, a launch livery that looks bad ass. Reminds me of Toro Rosso's old livery.

Maybe the actual livery won't have any yellow anymore and will be using that gunmetal stripe color...

I know this isn’t the car thread but man- Newey has had some fun with being able to work his chassis around a Honda engine layout.

That’s one SLIM rear! Great opportunity for Honda to show their progress and that they can get an effective and reliable engine in that packaging. Mighty interested to see how they go in testing.
