Im not a F1 test engineer, but i wouldn't doubt that they have a test contraption where the front suspension/wheels/ nose all attach, and spin around an axis to test these concepts. I think we are well beyond the time that any manufactured part would be produced without significant validation with simulation tools.

TR wings appear to have a wider edges in the inboard side that narrows towards the end plate whilst every other team have pointed tips. Renault last year had similar concept.

Interesting...I wonder why we haven't seen this on the RB15 as well (because ToroRosso and RedBull share the same rear end of the car)

edit: ok, might be there as well on the RB15
Could it be just a cooling duct for the rear brakes?

Could be for cooling, or could be for some sort of other aero Benefit! guess we will have to wait and see if anyone pics up on it at testing, I know Ted Kravitz normally does a good job of picking up on new bits on the cars after the first week of testing.
