Scuderia Ferrari SF90

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

So Schwartzman didn’t join Ferrari Academy until 2019 so I see no reason why he would have tried anything other than the Abu Dhabi spec SF71H; therefore, when he says ‘almost as good as the previous one’, he can only be comparing with the final spec of last year’s car.
He joined FA in 2017.

"As for handling, three days ago I went to the Formula 1 simulator, already prepared for a new car, and was able to test it. Compared with the previous machine, the changes are quite small, and in speed it is almost as good as the previous one. At Ferrari, they could make the car fairly balanced,” - Schwartzman said in an interview to the championat.com about SF90.

I stand corrected 😊

I inferred from this article on Mick Schumacher that he joined at the same time; “Ferrari has now confirmed Schumacher’s FDA deal, and announced that he will be joined by fellow Formula 2 racers Callum Ilott and Giuliano Alesi, plus Marcus Armstrong, Robert Shwartzman, Enzo Fittipaldi and Gianluca Petecof.”

But I think, judging by other articles, that’s this one’s just misleadingly phrased.

Could we please get back on track here! This forum is about the actual technical details on the car, and not about who is r is not a member of the FA.

The front wing really drops low near the end plate, it nearly resembles the Alfa version

Hopefully it won't be too long until we see the internals of the SF90.

Almost it looks like they're using hollow mirrors, difficult to tell because of shading

In this high res picture you can see that they're just using normal mirrors.
I wonder if they will even use hollow mirrors this year.
