Scuderia Ferrari SF90

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Looks like the airflow in the rear of the car is the priority for Ferrari... may be, not a surprise considering how much they revised the engine cover area. However, I thought, with the front-wing regulation changes and different approach to the out-wash teams would give airflow around the side of the car a lot more priority.

Well, the flow at the rear is a consequence of what all of the car in front of it does. So, If they are getting what they expect at the rear should mean that all the things in front do what they want them to do

I think we will see all possible airflow racks positions slowly progressing from back to the front of the car... They probably just comparing last years test data to the new one.

@Cuky sure, I just expected the teams to start their testing program with a closer and precise assessment of their new front-wing philosophy (especially with the difference in approach across the field). As @Mr.G states, I'm sure the teams will get to it at some point during their testing program, It'll be a surprise if they didn't.

Maybe old, but I noticed today. Look at the customisation on the screwdriver (three rotary switches)...

The engine sounds oddly crisp and smooth. Just listen the revs... so easy going.
