so apparently we don't have to pack..
More like Merc doesn't need to pack up like so many hinted at over the first 3 days of testing.
One guy was writing on this forum that Merc will give up this year and look forward to the next one... :D
After 2 days of testing.
I'm not so optimistic either, I think Ferrari is the best, but come on.
Merc can develop much faster during the year.

I'm not interested in this fanboysm, As I said above, decripting preseason testing testing is an exciting intellectual challenge. that's my interest

Bottas just did an 1:18.1 on his 16th lap of a stint on C2 tyres
Source? That would be massively quick if so.

Preseason testing means nothing. First sign is Friday free practice, but even then, we're not sure what true pace of the cars are.

Quali on Saturday we will finally know.

Pre-season only tells if the cars keeps running without breaking down unexpectedly
Do you work for Williams?

Don't take it too literally. I meant we don't need to look that much at other teams, because every team is focussed on their own programme. We don't know in what conditions the cars set their time. Even so, they'll bring a different package to the first race and the result will be entirely different.

I still remember back in 2011. Mclaren were in big trouble with the performance of their car in Winter testing, but came with a very different car in Melbourne with basically a copy pasted diffuser of the Red Bull on their car and suddenly the performance was there and they were the second fastest car on the grid that weekend.

I don't know if/what Hamilton said over the radio, but I would have had a few choice words to share.

I still think Kubica's return was a mistake.

Just heard from Gary Anderson - The championship battle is between the chart toppers, Renault and Toro Rosso! Because, whatever the performance is, is what we are seeing and there is no more for drivers to drag out. Great season ahead.

According to Pirelli

C5
C4 +0.6
C3 +0.6
C2 +0.7
C1 +0.8

But on track that's not what we see

If Anderson's brain was as big as his gut, we'd be lucky

The next Harry Potter spin-off is probably gonna be named "Will Buxton and the Photographers' Favourite Time of Day".
