indeed, lets see. It might be quite a lot of work, the new aero package is much more tight also around the rear sidepod area so it might take quite some manual labor. Plus it is a totally new car, the crew has not done it a gazillion times just yet.

they just bolted on the old nose (I guess to confirm/compare the aero work/result of the new nose against the previous data).

Yes, but it was only a 3 lap stint, Vettels best time was also on C3 but in a 7 lap stint.

then it's depending WHEN Vettel droves his fastest lap, at the beginning or the end of that stint

Are we still trying to compare unknowns? The only people who know where they are is the teams, and that it only in relation to last years car.

It was his first flying lap.

Exactly. It doesn't mean the fuel loads are different. Gasly could have just bounced out from further Tyre deg testing, what Vettel did.

He was on C3. He's been on C4 for the past 45 minutes and lapping with tyre changes in between, but no fueling.

I'm a little pissed F1 TV isn't broadcasting live this week. Their excuse was something to the effect that they have to move the cameras and get ready for the Australian GP. Kinda BS considering they have moved cameras within a week's time across different continents. ...
