Actually it can, the air is a lot cooler denser so better for engine and aero efficiency. I'm sure he can get the C5's to work too. Anyway we'll see. McLaren did glory like runs every day the last weeks so I wonder why everybody would think they are doing the same now.

Honda - Mclaren D#CK measuring ended on this forum 2 years ago, just stop it! Every team is doing its own test program and that is all. Tomorrow or latter today someone from the frontrunners will post sub 1.17 time and we will move on.

It does look like he is doing qualy runs, they pit immediately afterwards. So quite likely he is very low on fuel. Last week they usually did fast-slow-fast stints in the morning, but now he seems to do just a warmup lap and a hotlap.
