If I am one of the autosport experts, I would say, Red Bull and Mercedes have pushed Ferrari so hard in testing that, in the eagerness to extract more and more performance, Ferrari has crashed!

In the press briefing, Vettel says, there was a problem on the left corner and then he had no more control.
Doesn't it just make you want to subscribe to get all that even more expert pay content?
I already do, for the past 8 years! I guess the problem is with me, that I am getting more enlightened here, which is changing my perspective. Guess it's time to unsubscribe it.

BoT, that is not a happy place to crash! https://streamable.com/193rq
There was a possibility for a serious injury there.... Problem is Ferrari will probably have a hard time determining the cause of the crash... since front end is completely wrecked.
Nah, they've got a million sensors that'll tell them exactly where abnormal load was noticed, at which thousandth of a second etc.
Like in the case of Alonso's crash =P~? Was it in Barcelona testing? All the footage and sensors and it was still a mystery.

You need to make racesim 2 words. As 1 it reads like something Red Bull doesn't want to be doing.

F1 Journalism has become a joke over the last few years. The went from Journalism , which is reporting the news about f1, as it happens and when it happens , into a tabloid type of Journalism based on gossips and rumors.
I am really sick hearing " The rumor/word in the padock is etc etc......." "We heard this we heard that etc etc.
Really sick of it.
2nd bad thing is that allowed everyone to have an opinion. I mean common, report what you see, state the facts, we don't care what you think. You can spot from miles when someone is biased against a team or in favor of a team. And F1 journalists and experts is full of ppl biased against or in favor of teams. At least 50% of what they say its rubbish .
F1 its like a puzzle if you ask me. you can follow 100 twitter accounts about f1, follow all the major f1 sport networks, follow all the tech analysts and again 50% of what you hear , rumors, analysis, estimations, are crap.
Its up to you to complete the puzzle of the NONE crap info, and try to have an opinion that is towards the truth.
None of them is actually trying to solve this puzzle.

That's why i like this forum. Because its full of ppl that actualy try to solve that puzzle, distinguish the rubbish info from the useful info and try to complete the puzzle. And many many ppl in here are more capable of this, than most of the f1 experts out there.

I haven't been through the times from Tuesday, but Bottas' 1:19.0 from this morning was by some margin faster than anyone did on C2 last week (VET 1:19.6)

Redbull posts constant 1.22. lap times in the race sim second stint which is great. It seems like they dont have problems with the tyres. (C2)

Race sim of Verstappen:

First stint on C3: Outlap - 1:23.0 - 1:23.2 - 1:23.3 - 1:23.3 - 1:23.4 - 1:23.4 - 1:23.4 - 1:23.6 - 1:23.7 - 1:23.7 - 1:23.8 - 1:23.8 - 1:24.2 - 1:24.0 - 1:24.1 - 1:24.3 - Inlap

Second stint on C2: Outlap - 1:22.4 - 1:22.3 - 1:22.4 - 1:22.5 - 1:22.4 - 1:22.4 - 1:22.6 - 1:22.7 - 1:22.9 - 1:22.7 - 1:22.9 - 1:23.1 - 1:23.8 (traffic) - 1:22.4 - 1:43.9 (traffic or mistake) - 1:23.9 - 1:23.1 - 1:22.6 - Inlap

Third stint on unmarked tires: Outlap - 1:21.6 - 1:21.6 - 1:21.4 - Inlap

The sim came to an end just after a short last stint because there probably were some issues. Liveticker reports strange noises were audible and when Verstappen was back in pits the mechanics checked the back of the car.

IIRC, Norris did a 1:19:700 on C2, so Ferrari surely can go faster than 1:19:6xx.

EDIT: Norris did a 1:19:489 on C2 on Day 2. According to this: https://soymotor.com/articulos/analisis ... ase-960530

On the same day, Ferrari did a 1:18:9 on C2.

last week both teams went in 1.18.... with C2.
on the first day VET posted a 1:19.137 on C2 already.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

it seems like the tyres are working for a longer time on the redbull.

OK. My bad. I was going on the times by compound on the Sky test 1 roundup.
