I can see where this is coming from. Last season Vettel needed every point he could get. So sometimes teamorders would've been the best choice. Just like Merc sometimes did. I still think Ferrari should've made a choice to support him instead of leaving Seb and Kimi equal.
This year, LeClerc has to prove himself, so from the current perspective Vettel is their champion of choice. Now, if LeClerc proves to be way better than Vettel, i can imagine that they swap the No.1 status over to LeClerc
