Well I don't agree with you....from the in car cam you notice that he's relativly close....enough to be in the turbulence area where the slipstream closes....this area also creates a very instable car performance.

Bur I do agree that Kimi does go wide quite alot trying tto be on the limit...and does outbrake himself sometimes....specially in important times...qualifying and in some races.

yeah, MS was definately in the slip stream... and in that sense, he did make a mistake... he never should have been there in the first place.

Actually he wasn't in the slipstream.....his biggest mistake was that he wasn't in the slipstream untill mid corner...he got into the slipstream in the middle of the corner....a high speed, high load corner....

So his biggest mistake was going from a slip stream trajectory into a slipstream trajectory in the middle of the corner....

well thats kimi driving style i have to say...always goin on the limit...and sometimes he gets it abit too much...but quiet rarely...and its cause of his driving style tat he gets so much out of the car. wonder why coulthard is not getting it with his calculative method.
but this is something i need someone to point out to me.could someone tell me the diffrence in driving styles tat we can see in F1?...like for example the different driving style micheal has?..the driving style kimi has?

F1 Racing mag. did a telemetry analysis of M.Schumacher, R.Barrichello, J Button and M Webber. I can tell you that M.Schumacher is a left foot braker and uses the throttle while under brakes, to balance the car into and during the corners. At the hairpin @ Canada he only had his foot off the throttle until just before the exit before he floors it again.

Rubens is a right foot braker, and uses the throtle and brake seperately. Mark Webber is a late braker, uses power and steering to balance on exit and is a traditional driver like Ralf.S, Jarno.T and David.C. All I can tell you about Kimi.R is that he uses a very aggressive steering like Alonso.

If you can get your hands on F1 Racing mag. it should give you an idea about driving styles.

Rubens tried left foot braking at the beginning of last season I think, but switched back to right foot braking because it feels more natural to him.

Acctually Rubens tried left foot braking for the first time in 1995 at Jordan, but went back to right foot braking because he had the tendency of slightly braking on the straights without noticing it!

hey Monstrobolaxa that's before I started following F1.
I'm sure he tried it (left foot braking) recently cause Ferrari ask Ruben's too.
