The orange race cars have been developed by a team led by aerodynamics chief Peter Prodromou and design chief Neil Oatley.
The signature of James Key will first carry the 2020 car. Nevertheless, McLaren is not only hoping for a medium and long-term effect. Similar to a coaching change in football, Key and Seidl want to blow a fresh breeze through the Woking factory - and sweep the 750-man team.
