Carlos Sainz has been forced to take his second MGU-K of the Formula 1 season, after damage caused by a "not good enough" failure in Australia could not be repaired.

So are Haas issues resolved as well? Where can one find this reporting?https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/cool ... o/4359176/Marko told Motorsport.com: "It's quite clear that Ferrari has underperformed. And also Haas.
"We don't know exactly, but I think they just cut back on performance because they had cooling problems.
"The Haas was suddenly slower in relation [to the rest of the field compared to its long-run pace in pre-season testing].
https://www.motorsport-total.com/formel ... n-19032710"We think our car will be able to fight in the front in the midfield, but it has not always been shown when it really counted in qualifying and the race," annoyed team boss Cyril Abiteboul, announcing the upcoming second race of the season "We are determined to show more in Bahrain and we must underline the progress we have made on the engine."
Bahrain, with its long straights, is "a way to show that." Renault technical director Nick Chester also explains that Australia was a "mixed weekend". In qualifying, one had been knocked down with the positions eleven and twelve. "This has been a matter of execution in some areas and a reliability issue that we now understand," says Chester.
At the end of Q3 Hülkenberg lost in Melbourne performance and so could not set a faster lap time. "We have some updates to the bodywork related to cooling," Chester reveals, and Abiteboul adds, "We'll bring some Aero updates, just like every race." In Bahrain, these updates are hoping to get both cars in Q3.
I wouldn’t take what Marko said about Haas / Ferrari as the truth... He is (in the best case scenario) just speculating... When Haas or Ferrari come out and said what was wrong, we will know.M840TR wrote:Ground Effect wrote: ↑28 Mar 2019, 13:49So are Haas issues resolved as well? Carlos Sainz Jr. wrote:McLaren driver Carlos Sainz, who previously worked with Key at Toro Rosso, said he had already had a lengthy chat with him.
“I had lunch with him,” said Sainz. “He started this week so I was in the factory also with him. I had a simulator session and he was part of the debrief session, and we started talking.
“He has started meeting a lot of new names, like I had to meet at the end of last year, and he is a great asset to the team.
"I have a great relationship with James from our Toro Rosso days so it is nice to see an old friend in a new environment. So he is going to be a great asset I think.”
Sainz was clear, however, that Key’s impact will probably only be felt in 2020.
“He is going to have a quick impact on hopefully next year’s car,” added the Spaniard. “This year is more about procedures, how the team works, learning about this year’s car.
"That learning process will give him a good baseline for next year. This year it is difficult for him to have any kind of impact because he has just arrived basically.”
Cool!
I think McLaren said they wouldn't advertise tobacco products.NtsParadize wrote: ↑28 Mar 2019, 20:09Vype is an e-cig. Considering that tobacco advertisement is allowed in China, Monaco and USA, we might see 555 or Lucky Strike on the cars.
Don't you mean 6 seconds? I know you and your other self (alogoc) regard Fernando as a divine being.

We won't, only alternative products. The whole idea is to not link those brands with 'A Better Tomorrow'.NtsParadize wrote: ↑28 Mar 2019, 20:09Vype is an e-cig. Considering that tobacco advertisement is allowed in China, Monaco and USA, we might see 555 or Lucky Strike on the cars.
That is correct Ben. Alonso is bigger than F1, he is everything, beginig and end. He is the one.Ground Effect wrote: ↑28 Mar 2019, 21:08Don't you mean 6 seconds? I know you and your other self (alogoc) regard Fernando as a divine being.
