Our engine partner Renault also deserves credit for putting us in this position.
Nice to see Renault getting some praise too; after all, team work makes the dream work =D> .

Renault engine accelerates the chassis faster, and the maximum speed is higher.

It's clear the McLaren-Renault package is slightly faster in a straight line, good traction out of the corners. Through the fast corners they look near identical. The Red Bull is slightly better over the kerbs, that's where Sainz lost his advantage, particularly in the final corner. I'm convinced P5 was within grasp after watching that back. It's impossible not to get excited!

Has anyone got the FP2 long run data comparisons between all teams and on all compounds?

BBC (Benson) poster a summary of averages on Twitter and it was super close but it would be good to have the whole stint data.

And what about the race simulation, has anyone seen the data?
I've been asking for those since yesterday... No luck

Thanks! 👍
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

From the video the car is very noticeably faster in a straight line going from corner to corner. It's more than slightly!
Redbull have been hoodwinked by Honda and Renault. . Renault downplayed their development and kept the progress from redbull who then believed honda was making more progress.
For Sure!!

You can't imagine how I am enjoying that and I will enjoy it even more once Mclaren reaches the top and starts it's domination. In any case we should target at least the 4th place in the Constructors for this year and keep eating the gap to the first 3. First things first though is to make a good and clear race start.

Lets hope the new rear wing sorts the car out for higher downforce tracks and it could be a decent year.
Don't we suffer from understeer ?? Has bargeboard update fix our balance issues ??

Well, this good qualifying results need to be melted down to points now. And if this starts happening and if points tally gets very decent, i wonder for how long will Mclaren be without a title sponsor and which company wants to jump on the rebound band vagon.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows
